Welcome to the Southwest Florida Chapter of the
FSMTA, the Florida State Massage Therapy Association. The FSMTA is
one of the oldest and largest massage associations in the country
with over 4500 members. Our Chapter is one of 19 chapters covering
Florida. We serve Collier, Hendry and Lee counties with
approximately 400 members. Please browse through our web site and
get to know us. Our desire is to familiarize more people about
massage and its therapeutic effects on the body, mind and emotions.
Massage therapists are healers first in their hearts - they believe
in the healing power of human touch - and secondly through their
training. There are many different massage techniques being taught
today, sophisticated, complicated, simple, natural, and still more
are evolving. Each therapist brings a slightly different
perspective to the massage profession, as she or he discovers their
own unique abilities to alleviate pain and enhance wellness.
